The innocence of an almost 3 year old...

Tonight was an average night. The kids where some what under control so we felt that taking them out to dinner would not be to much of an adventure. Off we go to friendlys... What more could kids want dinner and ice cream? Well I am about to tell you!

Dinner was going okay food was being eaten nothing horrendous had happened, the kids were enjoying the ice cream ( while I cringe seeing ice cream dripping off of my almost 3 yr olds face) When it happened....

The whole staff comes out singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Not to us mind you so we watch and enjoy. After the song is over my daughter still eating a huge ice cream politely asks if she can have some cake... It was to cute and sweet all rolled into one. The only time we sing that song means cake . Sadly we told her no but she was actually fine with not getting cake which surprised me almost as much as her asking.
